I am wanting to get a white boxer puppy-will it get along with my 2 year old labradoodle?

Dee C asked:

I want to get this puppy - but I want to make sure that it will be compatable with my Labradoodle (male) that is 2 1/2 years old. The puppy is also a male. Any replys will be greatly appreciated.
The Labradoodle is a very kind and gentle dog. The white boxer puppy is from a litter of pups that nobody wants and it needs a home. I am not buying this pup-nor is it from a breeder. This whole litter was abandened by their mother after 1-1/2 weeks of nursing (unknown why), she stopped feeding them and they are being bottle fed. I think by Labradoodle needs a buddy, but I just want to get the best companion (other than me) for him. He is not neutered.

For top dog neutered if not it is the mixed dog status.

I would say that as long as your mixed breed is altered and you are getting a puppy, that they might not be many problems.

I would ask why you want a white boxer, as they are not a desirable color(though that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve a home as much as any other boxer, but if you found someone that breeds them, it would sound sketchy.) but you bought a lab/poodle mix and call it a labradoodle like it what it really is.

How is your dog with other dogs in general? Like on a walk? If he is aggressive- it may not work, if he is playful- you may have a chance.
Also be sure to look into “white” boxers, many have deafness,

The alpha male over the dog that will get along because if you currently have nuetered then that you currently have nuetered then that will get along because if not there is chance that you currently have nuetered then that you currently have.
