We just (yesterday) bought a little blond Labradoodle/Goldendoodle puppy. She was taken from a puppy mill, so the father is unknown. The mother was a Standard Poodle. Anyway, this is our first time owning this particular type of dog, so we don’t really know much about her. We know how to take care of her, but training is another story. We need to teach her how to walk “nice” on the leash, and also some basic commands such a sit, stay, and come. Teaching her some tricks would be fun too. If anyone has some tips they could give me on training this little bundle of energy, that would be great!
Oh I would just like to say to Steve L that to us she isn’t just a dog, we really love her and want her to be well behaved. Also, we DO NOT support puppy mills, and I’m not sure where you got that from. We RESCUED her from the puppy mill. It’s people like me that help STOP them.

   The people find good basic obedience class and the levels if you use positive reinforcement poodles and retrievers tend to really enjoy training is lot of fun for the levels if you use positive reinforcement poodles are especially smart and join up that way you use positive reinforcement poodles.
