lol! If you had a SP - Standart Poodle - like Ellie you would take your words back! The thing is that poodles have long hair but it’s curly so it doesn’t look as long as if it was straight.

There is no such thing as a short-haired Poodle. All Standard Poodles grow about 1/2″ of hair a month.

Poodles hair grows continuously, they need to be trimmed about every 6 weeks or so, as they dont shed hair.

They do.. Their hair is very long but it curly so you cant really tell, but you would be able to once you are used to them and take a close look

Labradoodles are long haired dogs most people keep them clipped there are long haired dogs most people keep them clipped there are mutts.

Curly long fur plus short straight fur equals long fur. Poodles DO have long fur its just curled. Straight is more dominant leading to long shedding coats.
